Event Description
The upcoming TAC discussion, “AI in the Hands of Our Adversaries: Preparing and Preventing Harmful

cybersecurity, foreign threats, and technology and delve into the significant threats posed by AI in the hands of hostile nation states, bad actors and the strategies needed to counteract these risks. The conversation will focus on how adversaries could exploit AI for various malicious purposes, such as orchestrating cascading cyberattacks, disrupting autonomous weapon systems, conducting enhanced surveillance, and manipulating public opinion through sophisticated disinformation campaigns. Some of the topics we will cover include understanding Adversarial AI risks, the role of policy, defensive strategies and technological solutions, and best practices moving forward.
TAC’s AI panel aims to provide actionable insights for technology developers, policymakers, DoD, USG, and cybersecurity professionals. It will encourage collaborative efforts to strengthen defenses, establish responsible AI practices, and mitigate the potential dangers of adversarial AI, ultimately fostering a safer and more resilient global community.
