According to SITA’s 2024 Air Transport IT Insights report, 66% of airlines and 73% of airports identified cybersecurity as one of their top three priorities. The aviation industry’s overall IT spending reached $37 billion for airlines and nearly $9 billion for airports, reflecting a significant commitment to enhancing cybersecurity measures.
Threats to the aviation sector are evolving fast- from operational tech risks to ransomware, nation-state activity, and everything in between. What can we do as a community to shift policy and deliver innovation to strengthen airport infrastructure and cyber resilience?
Join us on May 12 at 4PM ET for an expert-led conversation about the future of aviation cybersecurity. We’ll unpack key insights from the new CSC 2.0 paper, “Turbulence Ahead: Navigating the Challenges of Aviation Cybersecurity,” and dig into what matters most for industry leaders, policymakers, and opportunities for the cybersecurity and technology industry to impact this industry.
